Sledding at Wanoga

On Saturday we met up with my old friend Justin and his son Yoshi at Wanoga Sno-Park. It's a great scene with tons of kids (and adults) barreling down the snow-packed hills. Here's some media from that trip:

Birthday WOD

I've been doing CrossFit for about 4 months now (3x week) and have finally reached that point where I'm addicted. Good thing right? My fitness levels have been trending upward, evidenced by the continual setting of PRs, or "personal records" as they're called in the real world.

Park FAIL

You wake up on a sunny Saturday, it looks so nice outside. You think it would be a good idea to take your family to the park. Only, when you get there it's 37 degrees outside and windy! You have to FAIL before you can WIN.

Snow! (finally)

Finally, after six weeks of sunshine, we have our first significant snowstorm!

When we finished shoveling out the driveway, Xander and I went down to the local park.

Easy Come, Easy Go

I just got notified that my Google earth model Building in Oakland, CA, USA was discontinued because "A better model exists". I'm not surprised, having only dedicating 10 minutes to its creation. =)
